Panasonic WV-NF302 Megapixel
Ruggedized Day/Night Network Dome Camera with 2.8-10mm
Varifocal Lens, 1.3 MP, POE
|
|
|
- Metal Body Day/Night Fixed Dome Network Camera
featuring a 1.3 Megapixel CCD for superior image
- Equipped with the 1/3 inch 1.3 megapixel progressive scan CCD and
the proprietary DSP, The WV-NF302/WV-NP304 provide superior image of
1,280 x 960 pixels, enhancing their identification capability. The
progressive scan CCD ensures clear images with less motion blur and no
tearing even when the subject is moving. ABS (Adaptive Black Stretch)
increases visibility of subjects in dark areas without degrading image
quality in bright areas by analyzing the “illumination map/signal level
distribution” and adjusting gamma correction for each area separately. A
megapixel camera requires a high definition lens whose depth of focus
tends to be so shallow that precise focus adjustment is required. Focus
Assist function uses an on-screen display to indicate the best focus
position making accurate focus adjustment simpler. With a minimum
illumination of 0.9 lux in B/W mode 1.5 lux in color (with clear dome
for NF302), a clear surveillance image can be captured even in poorly
lit, dim conditions.
Megapixel
High Image quality is vital to all surveillance cameras. The
i-Pro megapixel network cameras are equipped with a progressive
scan 1.3 million pixels CCD and proprietary DSP that delivers
outstanding image quality. The image is so detailed that it allows
operators to identify subjects on a whole new level when compared to
existing analog TV standard systems. Alternatively it can capture an
area four times larger while maintaining the same image quality of
conventional cameras.
Progressive Video Output
Interlaced video produced by an interline transfer CCD has motion
blur and tearing problems. This is caused by the timing difference
between odd fields and even fields, which gives the image a jagged
appearance. This has been a particular problem with conventional
surveillance cameras. The i-Pro network cameras provide
progressive video output by using a progressive scan CCD or Motion
Adaptive Interlace-Progressive conversion,* ensuring clear images with
less motion blur and no tearing even when the subject is moving.
ABS (Adaptive Black Stretch)
ABS (Adaptive Black Stretch) increases visibility of subjects in dark
areas without degrading image quality in bright areas by analyzing the
“illumination map/signal level distribution” and adjusting gamma
correction for each area separately.
Focus Assist
A megapixel camera requires a high definition lens whose depth of
focus tends to be so shallow that precise focus adjustment is required.
Focus Assist function uses an on-screen display to indicate the best
focus position making accurate focus adjustment simpler.
Real Time Monitoring
The i-Pro network cameras can transmit 30
images/second real time video at up to VGA (640 x 480) image size in
both JPEG and MPEG-4 mode. They can also simultaneously transmit high
frame rate MPEG-4 and high quality JPEG images, making real time
monitoring possible while recording high-resolution images.
High Sensitivity
All i-Pro network cameras combine high sensitivity
design and electronic sensitivity enhancement functions, enabling them
to capture color images even when the lighting is dim. If the situation
is too dark, the Day/Night Switching feature* automatically switches the
camera from color to B/W.
With a minimum illumination of 0.9 lux in B/W mode 1.5 lux in color
(with clear dome for NF302), a clear surveillance image can be captured
even in poorly lit, dim conditions.
MPEG-4 and JPEG Dual Streaming
The WV-NF302/WV-NP304 allows real time monitoring in MPEG-4 (VGA :
Max. 30 ips) while simultaneously shooting high-resolution JPEG (1,280 x
960: Max. 5 ips) images
PoE (Power over Ethernet)
With IEEE802.3af PoE (Power over Ethernet), both power and image data
can be transmitted through a single Ethernet cable. By eliminating the
need for power cables and supplies when installing cameras or changing
layouts, installation and maintenance costs are reduced.
Easy IP Set-up
When
the i-Pro network cameras are connected to the
i-Pro Network Disk Recorders, their IP addresses can easily be
obtained through the Easy IP Set-up features. By reducing the time and
labor required for network set-up, Easy IP Set-up lowers installation
and maintenance costs.
Flexible Alarm Handling
Various
alarm sources including Terminal input, VMD and Panasonic alarm command
can trigger actions including SD memory recording, FTP image transfer,
E-mail notification, Indication on browser, Alarm terminal output and
Panasonic protocol output. The image compression ratio can also be
changed in response to an alarm, so that higher quality image can be
provided as necessary*. With these features, flexible alarm handling can
be designed according to the application requirement.
Prioritized stream control
With prioritized stream control, one of the video streams can be
prioritized when multiple recorders or client PCs are accessing the
camera so that a recorder or a client PC can maintain the frame rate.
User management
User/Host authentication feature includes 3 user levels,
Administrator/Camera control/ Live only for sophisticated user
management, enabling to block operations from unregistered users and
hosts.
Privacy zone
Privacy zone masking for up to eight locations is also available.
SD Memory Backup
Network
problems can be an issue with all IP network systems. This is why the
i-Pro network cameras are equipped with an SD Memory
Card slot, so that when the network experiences a problem, during the
data transfer to a FTP server or an i-Pro network
recorder, images can automatically be backed up. This prevents image
loss and makes it possible to playback and check images captured while
the network is down.
Audio Features
Full duplex bi-directional audio allows interactive communication
between camera site and monitoring site.
